Application situation
The intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter consists of two parts, the sensor and the converter. It is based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction and is used to measure the volume flow of a conducting liquid. It is a velocity meter. In addition to measuring the volume flow of ordinary conductive liquid, it can also be used to measure the volume flow of strong acid, alkali and other strong corrosive liquid and slurry, pulp, pulp and other uniform liquid and solid two-phase suspension liquid. Widely used in petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, textile, paper making, environmental protection, food and other industrial sectors and municipal management, water conservancy construction, river dredging and other fields of flow measurement.

Instrument characteristic
The measurements are free of the effects of fluid density, viscosity, temperature, pressure, and conductivity.
The measurement of no flow parts in the pipe, no pressure loss, the straight pipe segment is required to reduce. It has unique adaptability to slurry measurement.

With 16 bit embedded microprocessor, it has the advantages of high speed, high precision, low frequency square wave excitation and programmable excitation frequency. It improves the stability of flow measurement and low power consumption.
With SMD device and surface mount (SMT) technology, the circuit has high reliability.
There are no moving parts in the pipeline, and there is no flow resistance component. There is almost no additional pressure loss in the measurement.

With RS485, RS232, Hart and Modbus, Profibus-DP and other digital communication signal output (optional).

The internal has three calculators, which can display forward cumulants, reverse cumulants and differential values respectively. There is a power down clock inside, which can record 16 times of power loss (optional).
  

 

Working principle


 

According to Faraday's principle of electromagnetic induction, a pair of detection electrodes installed in the pipe wall is vertical pipe axis and the magnetic field and measurement, when the conductive liquid along the axis of movement of the measuring tube, conductive liquid cutting magnetic lines induced EMF, the induction voltage detected by two electrode detection, and the flow rate is proportional to the magnitude of the value. The sensor transmits the induced potential E as the flow signal to the converter. After amplification, conversion, filtering and other signal processing, the instantaneous flow and accumulated flow are displayed with a backlit dot matrix liquid crystal. Converter with 4~20mA output, alarm output and frequency output, and a RS-485 interface and supports HART and MODBUS protocol.

电极材料的选择
应根据被测流体的腐蚀性来选择电极的材料,请查有关手册,对于特殊流体应作腐蚀性试验

2弱腐蚀性酸、碱、盐介质如碳酸、醋酸等
哈氏合金C HC 1适用于耐氧化性酸,如硝酸、混酸、铬酸与硫酸的混合物
2耐氧化性盐类或其它氧化剂环境的腐蚀如Fe、Cu
3对海水、碱溶液,氧化物溶液有极好的耐腐蚀性
4不适用:盐酸
哈氏合金B HB 1对于非氧化酸、碱、盐如硫酸、磷酸、氢氟酸有良好的腐蚀性
2不适用:硝酸
Ti 耐海水,各种氯化物忽然次氯酸盐及多种氢氧化物的腐蚀
Ta 除了氢氟酸外,几乎能耐一切化学介质的腐蚀。但价格昂贵
Pt 适用所有的酸碱盐溶液(发烟硫酸及硝酸)

内衬材料的选择
应根据被测介质的腐蚀性磨损性和温度来选择内衬材料

-40~180℃ 除砂浆等强磨损性介质外的所有流体。与PTFE一样,能用于饮料等有卫生要求的介质
